Join us any sunday at 9:45am or 11:00am

Where do i park?

Skycrest has two parking lots; a paved lot in front of our Education building, and a grass lot in front of our Sanctuary. There are handicap and first-time guest parking spaces marked in both areas. The entrance for the 9:45am Modern service is located through the glass double doors near the playground. The entrance for the 11:00am Traditional service is located through the Sanctuary doors near our garden area.

WhAT SHouLd I expect when I arrive?

Greeters will welcome you and give you a bulletin that provides an order of worship and information. Have a seat and make yourself at home. Feel free to let the greeters know if you have any questions, or need directions to the restrooms, nursery, etc. We give a $5 donation to Heifer International on behalf of any first-time visitors, so be sure to fill out a Connection card during the service!

WHAT ARE THE SERVICES LIKE?

Modern Service (9:45 AM)

The Modern service is held in our Fellowship Hall for a more casual environment. Refreshments are available. Worship is led by our Modern band.  Our pastor speaks on Scripture and relevant topics.  We celebrate Communion (bread & juice) each Sunday, in which all are invited to participate.

Traditional Service (11:00am)

The Traditional service is held in our Sanctuary. Our music is led by our choir, piano, and organ. This service includes traditional hymns, creeds, prayers, Scripture, and a sermon. The pastor delivers a similar message in both Traditional and Modern worship.  Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month, in which all are invited to participate.

What about my children?

Children at Skycrest are always welcome to worship with their families! There are coloring sheets at the entrance to both services. Our Modern service also features a Kids’ Table with quiet activities, children’s Bibles, and a Kids Moment during the service.

SkyKids starts at 11:00am for age 4 through 5th grade, upstairs in the Education building. We follow a faith-based curriculum and kids will do lots of crafts, games, and drama! A parent or guardian must check-in their child with one of the Kids Ministry Leaders and return at noon to pick up their children.

Our Nursery is available from 9:30am to 12:15pm. There are screened Nursery staff and volunteers to care for our youngest guests. The Nursery is open to all newborns through 3 year olds. We ask that families provide diapers, wipes, bottles, whatever supplies your child will need. Please check-in and out with our Nursery Leaders.

What about my youth?

The youth (6th-12th grade) participate in Worship with the rest of the congregation on Sunday mornings. Driven Student Ministries also meets Sunday evenings from 5:00pm to 7:30pm for fellowship and Bible study!

do i have to give money?

As a first-time guest, there is no expectation for you to give! For those who consider Skycrest their church home, we do encourage them to give toward our ministries, so there will be a time in the service where people place their offerings and Connection cards in baskets. Feel free to participate as you wish, or consider giving online!
