We believe that giving back to our community is an important part of living out our faith. That's why we are excited to announce our upcoming donation drive to support the Florida United Methodist Children's Home.
The Florida United Methodist Children's Home is a non-profit organization that provides a safe and loving home for children Their mission is to empower children and families to experience the transforming love of Christ through evidence-based care and holistic services.
Throughout the month of May, we will be collecting donations to support this important organization. You can donate by bringing items to our church every Sunday or anytime our office is open. Here are some items that the Florida United Methodist Children's Home is currently in need of:

Vacation Bible School 2023 - God's Wonder Lab
About The Event
Skycrest is excited to announce our 2023 Vacation Bible School…God’s Wonder Lab! VBS will run from July 24th to 28th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM each night. We cannot wait to share with your children the amazing wonders of God's creation through fun nature of science!.
VBS is open to children ages 4 years to 5th grade. Nursery will not be available this year. We encourage you to invite children of your friends and family to join us for this exciting week of learning and fun. There is no cost to attend, but we suggest a $20 donation to cover the included dinner each night.
Throughout the week, children will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on experiments that explore the wonders of God's creation, from exploring the depths of the ocean to discovering the secrets of the stars in the sky. Each experiment is designed to teach children about the incredible power and love of God, as well as inspire them to explore the world around them.
In addition to science experiments, we will have games, crafts, and music that will keep your children engaged and excited throughout the week. Our dedicated team of volunteers is eager to share their love for Jesus with your children, and we hope that this will be a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.

Costa Rica Fundraiser - The Great British Shock
The Event
Attention all mystery lovers! There's an upcoming event that you won't want to miss. On April 29th at 5pm, our church is hosting The Great British Baking Shock. This unique fundraiser combines dinner and a mystery, all in support of our upcoming church mission trip to Costa Rica. Tickets are on sale for $25.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards funding our church mission trip. This mission trip provides an opportunity for members of the church to serve and make a difference in the lives of others. By attending this event, you'll be making a direct impact on the lives of those in need.
