Topic: Confession and Forgiveness

Scripture: I John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Focus question:
Sin carries a heavy burden, for the sinner and the one sinned against.  The sin is healed, the burden lifted, the stain cleansed through the power of God by the means of confession and forgiveness.  How have you experienced/witnessed God’s power through these means?
