Music

If you enjoy singing or playing a musical instrument, there are several places where you may be interested in sharing your talents at Skycrest. 

Our traditional worship service includes singing hymns led by our chancel choir.  This group also performs musical specials during many of our holidays such as Christmas and Easter.  At many of these special events, as well as occassionally throughout the year, we have a bell choir that plays for the traditional service.  Both of these talented groups are led by our Traditional Music Director, Gary Gray.  Rehersals are on Wednesday evenings (check the calendar for times), and they would love to have you join them! 

In our modern worship service, we have a worship band that is a mixture of vocals, guitars, and drums.  This group meets twice a week for practice and leads the modern service through songs of praise.  If you are interested in auditioning, please see Sandi Walters, our modern worship leader, or Michael Pestel, senior pastor.  Please come and share your gifts in the glory of our God!
