Toward this end, the organized unit of UNITED METHODIST WOMEN shall help women to:
1. work toward true inclusiveness - - active participation of women of varying interests, ages, ethnic groups and lifestyles;
2. discover, proclaim, and live out the revolutionary message of the Gospel;
3. participate more fully in the total life of the church and community
4. identify, confront and respond more effectively to the issues of the day;
5. work actively and openly for the elimination of injustice and racism and for the liberation of oppressed peoples;
6.
be responsible stewards of their time, personnel and funds.
Living the Faith
Living the
Faith
reflects our Christian understanding of faith as both what we believe
and
how we act. When Jesus Christ is at the center of our lives, our
faith is alive. We become for others the Good News. The Christ in us
sees
, greets, and affirms the Christ in others. Like ourselves, a living
faith
grows, changes, develops and expresses itself in many ways as we
experiences
life's challenges, joys, and crises. We become one in Christ, and
find joy and renewal in connectedness through our common faith.

Objective
THe UNITED
