The
structure of the 2005 Discipleship Committee changed in 2006 to become
three distinct groups:
Nurture
Discipleship
and Outreach
The Outreach Committee extends our hand of fellowship
to those who are inquiring about spiritual issues.
This
committee provides ways to
reach out into the
community offering Christian fellowship and opportunities to learn
about Jesus Christ and then make a commitment to Christ.

Our major focus has been to the
singles in our community. Every Friday at 7:00 PM we gather for fun
fellowship, devotions and a short program. The programs rotate themes:
spiritual, psychological, secular and fun!

We have
sponsored a "picnic in the
park" - Crest Lake Park - to help people know about the Tampa
Bay
Festival brought to the area by Louis
Palau Ministries.

Our ESOL program helps many in the community.
This was more like a
mission created by Ron and Loretta Davis, now missionaries in Honduras,
and not an outreach project.

Through
Religious Community Services (RCS) we reach out into the Clearwater
Community in various ways.
Our members also serve the community as volunteers within the
school system.

Knitting Ministry
Skycrest Members are using their skills
to produce beautiful shawls and lap robes which will be given to men,
women, and children during the coming year. New and experienced
knitters are always welcome to participate. For further
